I remember eating those Necco wafers as a kid. They’re kind of odd. I liked the gray ones- licorice. And the cloves - thank you for identifying that flavor. No one seems to like licorice, but I do. And others must too- I just haven’t met many who do. Nice to know about the PSU library books!

I like licorice Necco wafers. I like clove, too. The chocolate: meh.

Clove flavored candies! Sounds pretty unusual, but fun colors.

Once you have bitten into a clove, you never forget that taste.

But, but, but...I don't like Neccos. There, I said it.

You could still use them as roofing tiles for a gingerbread house. Unfortunately, they're no good for skipping over water (they melt) or playing tiddlywinks (they break). Best not to buy them.

I've got an extra roll, which I'm willing to gift to the next person who subscribes to Becoming.

Too late to claim that extra roll of Neccos. My husband ate them. ANd now he wants more.

You've written the best thing ever about meditation. Oh, and I'm pleased to know that Necco wafers are being made again. I hadn't thought to compare the winter sky to their pastels, but now I will. Thank you!

Wow, thanks for the compliment! I'm going to include it in a note.

You know, I so often cram too much stuff into a single posting. I'm vowing to step back from that. It's just that I have so much to share.

One positive about the NECCO wafers...they have 0 percent sodium!

And zero percent nutrition of any sort other than calories. The flavors are fun, though.
