I love the final two stanzas of this poem, connecting the cause and effect between life's little irritations with the energy to muster the words to vanquish the tension. Thank you.

(And I think the struggle of what to keep and what to let go is difficult. It's very interesting to me that the book came up as something you regretted getting rid of. A wonderful example.)

I enjoyed the full range of ruminations on yellow this week and all of the photos. It's so wonderful to see what catches the eye this way when honing in on something specific. You found some excellent ones!

I generally do not like the color gray. Yet, I love the ginkgo leaf on that carpet. Sometimes our mind does not follow the rules we have made for it.
